The New York Times calls London 'the design capital of the world'. To showcase London’s global design talent, we support London Design Festival - the leading event of its kind in the industry, the festival generated £80 million in sales.

The London Design Festival takes place every September and is an important part of the capital’s autumn creative season, alongside London Fashion Week, Frieze Art Fair and the BFI London Film Festival.

The London Design Festival was set up by Sir John Sorrell and Ben Evans in 2003. The Mayor supports the festival to build on London's existing design business and showcase its talent, it is now one of the world's most important design events, showing new London talent as well as the best design ideas from around the world. The Festival programme is made up of over 400 events and exhibitions staged by hundreds organisations across the design spectrum.
