Motion detail

Susan Hall AM moved, and Keith Prince AM seconded the following amended motion:

“This Assembly calls on the Government to provide long-term sustainable financial support to TfL and thus enable the Mayor to rule out the introduction of a boundary charge in London. We note that the Government has not yet agreed to devolve the VED to London as proposed by the Mayor and supported cross-party by the Assembly.”

Following debate and upon being put to a vote, the amended motion was agreed (13 votes being cast in favour, and 7 votes being cast against).
