London will be leading cities around the world in the first ever International Busking Day on 23 July.
This global celebration follows on from the success of last year's National Busking Day. 50 cities across the UK and major world cities including New York, Sydney, Barcelona, Hong Kong, Paris and Toronto have all signed up to the most ambitious celebration of street performance ever staged.
It will also kick off the Busk in London Festival, the capital's showcase for some of the most exciting street performance talent from across the globe and the best of British. Across the weekend crowds can expect the unexpected and even take part in a number of 'Give it a Go' workshops.
There's no entrance fee or ticket to the festival, but we can guarantee that after watching the talent you'll want to reward our performers with some cash at the end of their show. You'll definitely be getting your money's worth!
