It includes the top prize winners in three age categories, as well as the best entry from each London borough and the Commendation Prizes.

Fourth Plinth Schools Awards is an annual programme which invites primary and secondary school pupils to create artwork taking inspiration from past and present Fourth Plinth commissions. The competition aims to engage school children aged 5 to 15 years old.

Each year pupils are challenged to create art and think about what it can say about our city. This year we received 2,700 entries from over 5,000 students. You can view all the entries here.

Winning entries include a Tree House on Trafalgar Square; an ingenious Minecraft Pigeon made from wooden blocks; a kinetic sculpture of mechanical clock movements; a 'Tech Baby' in which cell phones become human cells; and a collage of optical illusions inspired by Londoners' busy lifestyles.
