Letter on the EEIS Consultation

The London Assembly Fire, Resilience and Emergency Planning Committee has today published it’s response to the Emergency Evacuation Information Sharing (EEIS) consultation.

The Committee discussed the Grenfell Tower Inquiry recommendation for PEEPs in May 202 with the London Fire Commissioner (LFC), Andy Roe. This session pre-dated the Government’s consultation on EEIS.

The Committee also previously heard from the LFC in its meeting on 22 February 2022 about the Grenfell Tower Inquiry recommendations for PEEPs to be available to the Brigade for vulnerable residents of high-rise residential buildings.
