Get involved with our planning work

The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) document explains how we will inform and involve the community in deciding planning applications and preparing planning policy for the area. It sets out how we will effectively draw on and utilise local knowledge and insight that the existing communities have of the area in and around Old Oak and Park Royal when bringing forward plans for future development.

First published in 2015, the SCI is regularly updated. The most recent version was updated in November 2020 to reflect the need for remote engagement as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Below you can find out more about OPDC planning documents, additional planning framework and policies, who we work with and how we monitor our planning work.
