Find out the latest information for the Great Place Scheme in Old Oak and Park Royal.
OPDC Great Place Scheme
In March 2017, OPDC was awarded a grant of almost £1.5 million from the National Lottery through Arts Council England and the Heritage Lottery Fund.
This will be used to ensure that art, culture and heritage are at the heart of the major development planned for the Old Oak and Park Royal.
The Great Place Scheme is an ambitious and community-focused three-year programme of activities, events and projects.
There will be opportunities for local people, businesses and organisations to ensure art, culture and heritage is celebrated.
Initial proposals for the programme include working with 2,000 local volunteers, an engagement programme designed to reach all school children in the area, and community-led research.
We want to ensure local residents and businesses play an authentic role in shaping the future regeneration.
