London's Violence Reduction Unit (VRU)
Working together to prevent and reduce violence in London.
London’s Violence Reduction Unit (VRU) is a team of specialists who bring people across London together to better understand why violence happens and to take action to prevent it now, and in the long-term.
Our approach is rooted in prevention and early intervention and we are a champion and a voice for young people and communities across London.
We believe in the importance of education and being in school, and we’re invested in providing both support and positive opportunities for young people, working with communities to give them the tools and resources to deliver change where they live.
We believe violence is preventable, not inevitable.
