In an emergency you should dial 999

An emergency is when a crime is being committed or has just been witnessed, there is a risk of injury, or a risk of serious damage to property.

In a non-emergency you should dial 101, visit the Metropolitan Police website or contact @MetCC on Twitter.

Use this number to report a non-emergency incident or make a general enquiry to the Police. Alternatively, you can report crime on the Metropolitan Police Service website or via the @MetCC Twitter account.

Crimestoppers

Crimestoppers is an independent charity who will not want your name, just your information. Your call will not be traced or recorded, and you do not have to go to court or give a statement.

If you have any information relating to any crime you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111

We may not reply to correspondence we consider:

  • is addressed to another party and where MOPAC has been copied in for information only
  • contains comments that do not require a response
  • includes unsolicited job applications or CVs

  • to be vexatious or contains abusive or discriminatory language.

In addition, we will not respond where we specifically state that we are unable to enter into correspondence (for example, when inviting responses to consultation documents).

We aim to deal with all correspondence and complaints equitably, but there will be occasions when individuals make unreasonable demands of MOPAC by way of correspondence or complaints.
