No Wrong Door is an initiative that helps bring together employment and skills providers, funders, and other public services in London. The initative aims to make it easier for Londoners to access high-quality support for their employment and skills needs.

For Londoners, No Wrong Door means that no matter their starting point or what service they access first, they can be connected to the right type of support at the right time to help them into good work.

No Wrong Door is a key part of the London Partnership Board’s mission to help Londoners into good work. It is delivered by City Hall in partnership with London Councils, London’s four sub-regional partnerships, and Jobcentre Plus.

Launched in July 2022, No Wrong Door is focused on supporting Londoners disproportionately impacted by the pandemic - including disabled Londoners, women, refugees, young Londoners and older Londoners.

Integration Hubs

The No Wrong Door initiative funds four integration hubs to boost coordination and partnership working between skills, employment and other support services, such as careers and health.

Delivery of each hub is led by one of London’s four sub-regional partnerships, find out more by visiting their websites:

Since 2022, hubs have been doing a lot to help improve how things work in their local areas. They focus on helping specific groups of people like disabled people, refugees, young people, older folks, women trying to get back to work, and people from minoritised ethnic backgrounds.

Research and innovation

As part of this initiative, City Hall is also investing in a research and innovation programme aimed at developing the No Wrong Door model. City Hall's objective is to fully understand the challenges Londoners face, find ways to better connect them with skills and employment opportunities, and create innovative solutions to expand the reach of the No Wrong Door initiative.

The Young Foundation was commissioned to explore the existing employment and skills support system and the needs of Londoners trying to navigate this system. The report on how an integrated employment and skills system can support Londoners shows that biases and inefficiencies in the system are preventing thousands of Londoners from priority groups from getting the right support to move into good work.

Building on the findings of the Young Foundation’s research, City Hall is now launching a new design challenge, to help identify innovative solutions to the issues identified in this research, building on and supporting the work of the integration hubs.
