Jobs and Skills Business Partnership
This Partnership is responsible for advising the Mayor on how to improve and better align skills provision, including specialist, industry-relevant and higher level skills provisions (considering progression routes to higher education), to meet skills needs in London.
The Partnership was previously named Skills for Londoners Business Partnership (until March 2022). See below for more information on the Partnership and previous terms of reference and meeting papers.

To advise the Mayor and the Skills for Londoners Board on meeting occupational skills requirements through the GLA's skills and employment programmes, including the Adult Education Budget.

To advise on ways to improve London's skills system and increase skills investment, and to help improve information and data on occupational skills needs from employers.

To advise on ways to improve London's skills system to better meet the need of employers, businesses and the London economy (Skills for Londoners Strategy, Priority 2).

To advise of ways to increase investment and workforce development in London's industries to meet the demands of the economy.

To advise on ways to improve information and data on occupational skills needs from employers, and ensure the most accurate/reliable data is used to inform skills provision in London.
- To work closely with the Mayor's Skills for Londoners Board, the Mayor's Business Advisory Board and LEAP - London's Local Enterprise Partnership - as well as other boards, partners and business groups as required.
The Jobs and Skills Business Partnership is chaired by the Deputy Mayor for Business. The rest of the membership is made up of representatives from London's business, employers and representative bodies.
