Why this matters right now: a snapshot of mental health in London

The Mayor’s ambition is that Londoners share in a city with great mental health. By speaking openly about his own experiences and encouraging others to do the same, the Mayor seeks to challenge mental health stigma and remind Londoners that they are never alone.

For the latest on City Hall’s mental health and wellbeing policy work read the Mayor’s update on Healthy Minds in his Health Inequalities Strategy, reflecting on the fantastic work taking place to support recovery from the devastating mental health impacts of the pandemic. The Strategy outlines how mental health and wellbeing are increasingly central to so many areas of work at City Hall – from arts and culture to support through the cost of living crisis to training in education settings.
