The Mayor's Education Programme Delivery Plan

The GLA published its Education Programme Delivery Plan in February 2013, following the publication of the Mayor’s Education Inquiry Final Report and the Mayor’s Response in October 2012.

The Delivery Plan, including an annex with more details, outlines current progress and future actions to take forward the 12 Inquiry Panel recommendations. Its main focus is on the substantial progress of the Mayor to deliver theme one – ‘Promoting teaching excellence in all London schools’. This includes the establishment of a London Schools Excellence Fund to stimulate new partnerships and help schools to make substantial progress to raise standards in literacy, numeracy, STEM (separate sciences, technology, engineering and maths) and modern and ancient foreign languages.
