Event Details
The Mayor of London hosts his annual Christmas Carol Service.
The Service will be led by The Very Rev Dr Mark Oakley, Dean of Southwark and The Right Rev Christopher Chessun, Bishop of Southwark. A Christmas message to all Londoners will be shared by the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan.
This year’s theme is Together at Christmas denoting a fragmented society that can find togetherness through areas of commonality, of which Christmas often is. It also denotes unity, family and community but also shines light on those who may be lonely this Christmas.
Individuals from a variety of organisations will be invited to share biblical readings with us during the Service alongside traditional carols sung by DayThree Music.
