We have all been through a challenging 18 months, to say the least.
Yet, through it all, our incredible team of volunteers has enabled The Felix Project to continue fighting food waste and hunger in London.
It’s not been easy, but what an impact we’ve had...
In 2020 we redistributed enough food to create over 20 million meals and by April this year, we'd already redistributed enough food to create 11 million meals.
Our volunteer team is at our very core: they do everything from sorting food in the depots to supporting our teams in our offices, to driving our vans and getting the food where it needs to go.
With over 900 active volunteers spread across London, we really could not do it without them. Thanks to our passionate and dedicated team, we are able to reach 260,000 Londoners every week.
So The Felix Project would like to say this to our volunteers: THANK YOU! We have been amazed by your commitment and resilience. We cannot wait to take our next big step with you when we open our new depot and community kitchen this summer.
