What is it?
Twice a year, Mayor Sadiq Khan and the London Assembly hold People’s Question Time (PQT) in different parts of London, talking about their plans for the capital and taking questions from the audience.
Who can go?
Anyone - it’s a great way to see London democracy in action.
When’s the next one?
The next PQT is at the Jo Richardson Community School in Dagenham on 2 November, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
How does it work?
Each PQT has a chair who directs the event and chooses questions from the audience. This time, it’s Assembly Member for Barking & Dagenham, Unmesh Desai. Topics up for discussion include:
- transport
- safety
- air quality & environment
- housing
- London's economy
- culture
- education
Can I ask a question?
Absolutely. You can think of one in advance - or get inspired on the night.
How much does it cost?
PQT is free, but you need to book a ticket. And it’s first come, first served, so make sure you arrive on time.
