Around the city, over a hundred events have already happened for our Festival of Ideas. From glassblowing to rewilding, Londoners are finding amazing ways to get together and talk about their visions for strong communities. You can still attend our closing event and join our poster competition, more information at the end of the page.
Anna Njie from Go Africa talks about their community tie-dye event, which was part of our Festival of Ideas.
Saturday was a great start to our Go Africa program!
It was such a nice day with lovely attendees and we’re already looking forward to growing the community by doing larger events. Getting people to fill out your 'What does a community look like to you' was a great exercise – we’ll keep doing it throughout the month to gauge what the community wants and roll out the creative activities they want.
Next is our workshops to exchange creative skills while networking. Our community events are such a success, they’ve motivated us to host the next of its kind on 14th August 2021. So we are really pleased that the community, especially the kids, loved it!
Again - thanks for supporting us.
