City Hall is exploring the role 3D modelling could play in our work, allowing planners to evaluate potential development more effectively and helping Londoners engage with the planning process more easily.
As part of assessing the capability of the market in this area of technology we are trialling Vu.City software for six months, alongside other products. At the same time, we are drawing up a supplier-agnostic set of requirements to meet our 3D modelling needs, to take to the market through a competitive process.
