London Assembly[2] Members have six more opportunities to quiz Mayor Boris Johnson before his Mayoral term ends.
The Assembly questions the Mayor, in public, ten times a year at Mayor’s Question Time (MQT) meetings, as part of its role of holding him to account[3].
The role of the Assembly is to act as a check and balance on the activities of the Mayor.
The meeting will take place on Wednesday, 21 October from 10:00am in The Chamber at City Hall (The Queen’s Walk, London SE1).

- The London Assembly is part of the Greater London Authority (GLA) and Assembly Members are elected every four years, at the same time as the Mayor. There are 25 London Assembly Members - twelve Labour, nine GLA Conservatives, two Liberal Democrats and two Green Party members.
