This meeting took place on 22 October 2015. Read the transcript for the first section here, the second section here and the third section here.
The GLA Oversight Committee met with Transport for London (TfL) last month about the internal audit review of the Garden Bridge design process. Since that meeting, a much more critical earlier draft of the audit was sent to Assembly Members by an anonymous source.
The draft revealed the substantial changes that were made to the review by TfL’s senior management. This meeting provides Members the chance to discuss the internal review with TfL, to explore how the changes were made and why, in almost all cases, it resulted in a less critical version of the report.
The guest is:
- Clive Walker, Director of Internal Review at TfL
The Committee will also discuss the Mayor’s Mentoring Programme with guests:
- Munira Mirza, Deputy Mayor for Education and Culture
- Amanda Coyle, Assistant Director for Health and Communities
And the London Pensions Fund Authority (LPFA) with guests:
- Sir Merrick Cockell, Chairman of the London Pensions Fund Authority (LPFA)
- Susan Martin, Chief Executive Officer, LPFA
- Chris Rule, Chief Investment Officer
The meeting will take place on Thursday, 22nd October from 2.00pm in the Chamber, at City Hall (The Queen’s Walk, London SE1).
Media and members of the public are invited to attend.
The meeting can also be viewed via webcast.
