Assembly examines updates to Mayor’s cultural strategy

The London Assembly will tomorrow question Munira Mirza, Deputy Mayor for Education and Culture about recent updates to Cultural Metropolis, the Mayor’s culture strategy.

Questions will include:

  • Progress on delivering the culture strategies priorities
  • The reasons for updating the strategy
  • The cultural legacy of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games
  • Safeguarding live music venues in London

The Assembly will also consider its response to the Department of Communities and Local Government consultation paper Reform of the fire service decision making in London.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, 16 July from 10.00am in The Chamber at City Hall (The Queen’s Walk, London SE1).
