Making TfL land work for Londoners
Housing Committee – 10:00am in The Chamber

The Housing Committee will examine how the Mayor can ensure Londoners get the best deal from Transport for London (TfL) land. The Committee will hear from the following guests:

London & Partners
Plenary – 10:00am in The Chamber

At a full meeting of the London Assembly, Assembly Members will discuss tourism and business links in post-Brexit London and London & Partners’ role in promoting the capital. The guests are:

  • Rajesh Agrawal, Deputy Mayor for Business and Chair, London & Partners
  • Andrew Cooke, Acting Chief Executive, London & Partners

These topics and more will be discussed:

  • Measuring the effectiveness of London & Partners
  • An assessment of the impact that leaving the European Union will have on London

Notting Hill Carnival
Police & Crime Committee – 10:00am in The Chamber

Concerns have been raised about safety at Notting Hill Carnival, despite nearly £8 million being spent on policing and stewarding this year. The Police & Crime Committee will hold its first public meeting as part of the investigation into security and policing at Notting Hill Carnival, to discuss events at this year’s Carnival. The guests are:

GLA Monitoring Report – affordable housing
Budget Monitoring Sub Committee – 2:00pm in Committee Room 5

The Budget Monitoring Sub Committee will examine the GLA’s Monitoring Report and will focus on affordable housing performance. Topics for discussion will include the GLA’s housing programme performance, the Mayor’s housing commitments and expectations for the Autumn Statement. The guests are:

People’s Question Time - PQT
