LLDC and the London Stadium

Budget Monitoring Sub-Committee – 2:30pm in Committee Room 4

The London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) was originally intended to be self-sufficient, both in revenue and capital terms, but looks a long way from achieving that goal. Plus, the Mayor has launched a review into the cost of the London Stadium.

The Budget Monitoring Sub-Committee will discuss the latest increase to the stadium costs and the long term viability of the LLDC. The guests are:

Thursday 15 December
Q&A with MOPAC and the Met

Police and Crime Committee – 10:00am in The Chamber

The Police and Crime Committee will question the Met Police and the Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime about the findings of the inspection carried out by Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary (HMIC) into the Met’s child protection investigations.

The Committee will also begin it examination of the Mayor’s draft Police and Crime Plan for 2017-2021 and crime on London’s roads.

Draft Committee Timetable
GLA Oversight Committee – 2:00pm in Committee Room 5

The GLA Oversight Committee will discuss the draft Committee timetable for 2017-18 which proposes moving Mayor’s Question Time (MQT) and Plenary meetings of the Assembly to Thursday mornings rather than Wednesdays, to avoid the meetings generally clashing with Prime Minister’s Questions in Parliament.

London Visa
EU Exit Working Group – 2:30pm (or at the conclusion of the GLA Oversight Committee meeting) in Committee Room 5)

The EU Exit Working Group will hold its first public meeting to examine why London might need a regional visa and to highlight the opportunities and risks of having a localised immigration policy. The guests are:
