The Housing Committee will discuss the pros and cons of building smaller homes in London to help with the housing crisis. The guests are:

Wednesday 7 December
Q&A with the Minister for London

Plenary – 10:00am in The Chamber

Assembly Members will question Gavin Barwell MP in his capacity as the Minister of State for Housing and Planning and as Minister for London. The Deputy Mayor for Housing and Residential Development, James Murray, will also be questioned on strategic housing issues.

Following this, Assembly Members will submit motions on various topics.

Wednesday 7 December
OPDC and the future of regeneration funding

Regeneration Committee – 2:30pm in Committee Room 5

The Regeneration Committee will receive a short update on the result of the Mayor’s Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation review (OPDC) from Fiona Fletcher-Smith, Executive Director – Development, Enterprise and Environment, Greater London Authority (GLA).

From 3pm (approx.) the Committee will discuss the Mayor’s regeneration funding programmes, priorities of the Mayor and the different ways of funding regeneration after Brexit. The guests are:

Transport to support an expanded Heathrow

Transport Committee – 10:00am in The Chamber

The Transport Committee will discuss the transport implications of an expanded Heathrow Airport and the potential costs of improving access. The guests are:
