For the second time in another momentous day at the 2012 Olympic Games the Mayor of London Boris Johnson has congratulated a further two Team GB members' medal wins in their Olympic competition finals.

As Luke Campbell secured the first British bantamweight boxing gold for over 100 years the Mayor said: "I daren't look away from the screen in case I miss another golden TeamGB moment. Thanks Luke for another superb win adding to our extraordinary pile of gold medals."

Praising Tom Daley he added: "If there is one TeamGB athlete we have all willed on to success it is Tom. Using his tremendous sporting skill, strength and determination he has turned his chances around and snatched an impressive bronze from a formidable field. Quite simply the whole country and supporters around the world will be in awe of this stunning achievement."
