The London Assembly Police and Crime Committee will tomorrow question Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime Stephen Greenhalgh and Metropolitan Police Commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe.
Questions to the Deputy Mayor and Commissioner will be informed by the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) monthly report to the committee and will include the following subjects:
- Policing and security for the Olympic and Paralympic Games
- Stop and Search
- Police corruption
- MPS retention of photographs of individuals not charged
- HMIC report on MPS Policing in Austerity
- Extradition Act 2003
- MPS performance and sanction detection rates
The Police and Crime Committee meeting will take place on Thursday, 19 July from 10am in the Chamber at City Hall (The Queen’s Walk, London SE1). Media and members of the public are invited to attend.
