2016 marks the 150th anniversary of London Fire Brigade (LFB) and this exhibition celebrates this momentous occasion for the fire service. On display are just a few of over 300,000 colour and black and white photographs which are contained in LFB’s photographic archive.
The photographs, all taken by Brigade photographers, reveal the changing role of the firefighter and show how London’s fire and rescue service has helped shape the city it continues to serve.
