The Mayor of London is responsible for an £18bn Budget, covering the capital's transport, police, fire and other services.
In December, the London Assembly's Budget and Performance Committee published its annual Pre-Budget Report, which examined the key issues ahead of the Mayor's draft 2015/16 Budget.
This follows an intensive investigation by the Committee into the Mayor's spending plans and for the GLA's functional bodies.
Following the publication of the Mayor's consultation Budget, the Mayor wrote to John Biggs AM, Chair of the Budget and Performance Committee, on the report. The letter is published below.
