The webmap shows the spatial distribution of selected data sets within
LBSM
(London Building Stock Model). You can navigate the map by mouse (click and move) and zoom in/out using
the mouse scroll wheel, the search box
accepts postcodes or addresses. As you zoom in/out
the map will show data aggregated by
SCUs
or
built-block . A key part of LBSM is
displaying estimated
energy use by builings, we use
DEC
and
EPC
where available, but not
all premisis have one of these and for many SCUs in London there is more than one premisis.
The
energy data you see on the map therefore is aggregated and on initial load this contains vEPCs
if you want to see only data from DEC or EPC zoom to the building level you can then filter the map.
There are 2 panels on the left hand side of the map, you can show or hide these panels by clicking on
the panel name (blue text). The top most panel shows a summary statistics by administrative area, this
data also changes with zoom level.
The remaining three panels control what data sources are displayed on the map.
When zoomed in
clicking on a map feature will display the data held on that feature in a pop-up.
The webmap requires a modern internet browser to run (tested on Firefox and Chrome)
